About the Venture

C-LIPS stands for “Community Lips” which means “What community speaks”. It is an initiative to promote Social Research to bridge the gaps between Organizations and Communities ensuring the most effective use of the capital available for implementing welfare programs. It conducts various primary social research studies to guide the organizations in right direction. Some of these studies are: Community Needs Assessment- To understand the real needs of a community and suggest adequate programs to cater that Social Impact Assessment- To understand the short term and long term impacts of development interventions so that positive impact can be magnified and negative ones minimized Monitoring & Evaluation- To ensure that the project is moving in the right direction to produce best results Strategy: In order to achieve its objective of guiding organizations for maximum positive change of their interventions the best minds in Social Research is the pre-requisite. Along with an office team of experts on various developmental concerns, the organisation has a wide pool of experts and professors from premier Institutions like TISS and IIMs etc. having deep understanding of social issues. These experts become our research guide in all the Research Studies and steer the whole research in right direction. C-LIPS works with 3 kinds of organizations- 1. Government Institutions, having large projects aimed for various communities 2. CSRs of private companies, having fixed profit share to be invested into social welfare 3. Voluntary organizations, putting their best efforts even with limited resources
