Second Step Development, an organization works in the villages of Uttarakhand to provide affordable renewable energy solutions. Bringing electricity to the remotest parts of a sate which is mostly hilly in terrain is an ardous task. Raj Kumar has set out on his journey to work for the villages as well as encourage people and institutions to opt for renewable sources which would help keep the environment clean. The problem SSD is trying to tackle is of affordability, accessibility and reliability of renewable energy in the rural villages. Its mission is to promote renewable energy for the rural development by providing renewable energy equipment for productive uses to the rural residential households.
