Ecosystems expand when knowledge travels across borders.

TISS Incube Foundation (TIF) was pleased to host a visiting cohort of students from TeamLabs Spain for an interactive session aimed at understanding incubation ecosystems and enterprise development in the Indian social innovation context.
The session provided an overview of TIF’s incubation framework, including our approach to supporting early-stage social enterprises through mentoring, capacity building, ecosystem linkages, and impact-oriented strategy development. The visiting students engaged deeply with the processes involved in setting up and nurturing an enterprise — from ideation and validation to sustainability and scale.
A key highlight of the interaction was the opportunity for the TeamLabs cohort to learn about the journeys of TIF incubatees — their problem statements, community engagement strategies, operational challenges, and pathways to financial viability. The discussion enabled a comparative reflection on entrepreneurial ecosystems across geographies and reinforced the value of experiential, team-based learning.
The visit fostered meaningful dialogue on innovation, social impact, and enterprise creation, strengthening cross-cultural understanding and institutional collaboration.
TIF looks forward to continued engagement with global learning communities committed to building responsible and sustainable enterprises.
