Prof. Satyajit Majumdar delivered a session on ‘Innovation’ at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Command Hospital – KVCH, Kolkata (West Bengal).
Entrepreneurship and Innovation are complementary to each-other. Entrepreneurs innovate solution to solve problems. Innovation does not require extra-ordinary talent, it demands empathy, curiosity and desire to act with responsibility. Schools are the appropriate forum to seed innovative thinking, and develop attitude for innovation and entrepreneurship. KVCH has been pioneering such efforts and have been engaging with the Alumni to work together in nurturing innovative thinking among the students.
The Session was also addressed by experts – Dr Sharbani Banerjee Belur, Visiting Assistant Professor, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad; and Mr Gaurav P., CEO, TISC, IIT Jodhpur.
