Prof. Satyajit Majumdar conducted a Case Writing Workshop in Kathmandu for educators associated with Management Education programmes at King’s College.
The workshop focused on strengthening competencies in effective case writing and promoting case-based pedagogy as an experiential approach to teaching and learning. The sessions highlighted the importance of case teaching in management education and other disciplines, where real-life situations are used to encourage analytical thinking, collaborative learning, and problem-solving among students.
Participants engaged in discussions on designing impactful teaching cases that enable students to make relevant assumptions, analyse data using appropriate tools and frameworks, and arrive at practical and feasible solutions through peer learning and active classroom participation.
Through such academic engagements, it is essential to contribute towards strengthening innovative and practice-oriented learning ecosystems across institutions.
