The venture worked in the field of rural development in district Sikar in Rajasthan. It was established in 2013 and started working on project Aksh, with the aim of providing safe drinking water to rural masses in Fatehpur.
At initial stages of project Aksh, a reverse osmosis plant was installed at the panchayat level from where water was supplied to six neighbouring villages. The experiences while running the plant forced the entrepreneur to rethink on strategy about water. The plant operation proved to be a costly affair and 50% of water was getting wasted while purifying. Thus the focus shifted on traditional systems which have been providing water to past generations. The project aimed to revive the traditional harvesting systems while renovating the old harvesting structures and constructing newer ones wherever needed.
